Client: GfK

Project: 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor UK Headquarters, West Byfleet

Overview:

VLCI was authorised by the Main Contractor TFI to work as part of the team on this prestigious project GFK were keen to lift the now tired feel of their office reception, meeting rooms and open plan working environment.

The Project would mean a complete face-lift to the reception, which was the first area to be tackled as well as new meeting rooms. The main open plan areas have been transformed primarily by use of colour and feature walls with corporate images. The final requirement was for a dedicated staff break out area on the 4th floor. Uppermost in this Project was to ensure that GfK remained fully functional during the refurbishment works. As such much of the work was carried out outside of office hours and left clean and tidy each day for normal working to carry on.

The contract was a great success and GFK were absolutely delighted with the transformation. As seen from the pictures the reception area is very striking with the cool white tiles to the floor and walls contrasting with the vibrant GFK orange carpet inlay and back lit display behind the white minimalist reception desk.

The break out area “Mike Johns Room” again was an instant hit with the high gloss kitchen up to date vending and of course the large LCD TV and games console. The main office areas were face lifted with colour and a massive positive reaction was received form the staff.

The Project ran smoothly and following completion we have received on a number of occasion’s instructions to carry out further works for this dynamic company.
